Brisbane and South East Queensland’s commercial cleaning machine specialists

Sales, service, parts and hire for floor scrubbers, sweepers and robotic machines. One trade, done properly.

Commercial Cleaning Machines is a Southeast Queensland business that only does cleaning machines. We are an authorised dealer for Tennant, Nilfisk, Duplex and FloorBotics, we service those brands plus Karcher, Viper and i-team, and our technicians work out of stocked vans from Tweed Heads to Bundaberg. Most repairs are finished on site on the first visit.

Who we are

A machine business, not a general supplier

Commercial Cleaning Machines does one trade. We sell cleaning machines, we service them, we stock the parts and we hire them out, and the same technicians stand behind all four. That is the whole company, and it is why the advice you get before a sale matches what happens after it.

What we sell

Floor scrubbers, sweepers, vacuums, polishers and steam cleaners from the brands we are authorised for, plus robotic machines we map and commission ourselves. Browse the full range, or ask for a demo on your own floor first.

What we service

Every brand we sell, and Karcher, Viper and i-team machines we did not. Same or next business day across most of the region, with parts on the van so the repair finishes on the first visit. Details on service and repairs.

What we hire

One day to sixty months, delivered, set up and trained, with breakdown cover for the whole term. A long hire can roll into ownership. Start at the cleaning equipment hire hub.

Credentials

What authorised distributor actually gets you

Being an authorised distributor is not a badge. It changes who touches your machine, which parts go into it and what paperwork you get afterwards.

Two factory-trained technicians. Both Brisbane-based and mobile, both with a background in diesel mechanics and heavy plant maintenance. That is why most faults are diagnosed and finished on the first visit.

Genuine parts and warranty work in house. OEM parts access across Tennant, Nilfisk, Duplex and FloorBotics, and warranty repairs done by us rather than sent away. Our vans also carry cross-brand components, so coverage runs past the authorised list.

A written record after every visit. Work done and parts replaced, documented and ready for a compliance audit file. That matters on food-grade and healthcare sites, where the paperwork is part of the job.

Where we are already trusted

The brands we are authorised for

We are an authorised dealer for Tennant, Nilfisk, Duplex and FloorBotics, and we supply, service and stock parts for the rest of the range shown here.

Why CC Machines

What makes us different from a national supplier

Local, and only this trade

We are Southeast Queensland only, and we do nothing but cleaning machines. No hire counter sideline, no general tool range.

Our own stocked vans

Technicians carry the common parts, so most repairs finish on the first visit instead of waiting on a workshop slot.

Hospital-grade experience

We service healthcare, aged care and food-grade sites where a machine down for a week is not an option. Four-hour priority applies there.

Advice before the sale

We will tell you when a smaller machine does the job, or when hiring beats buying. The service side has to live with the recommendation.

Meet Shaun Herman

Director, Commercial Cleaning Machines

I’m not a salesman who learned about machines. I’m a mechanic who learned about selling them, and it happened in that order for a reason.

I started Commercial Cleaning Machines in 2021 with a van, my tools and a short list of customers who’d been let down by someone else. Today we have thousands of machines on our books and around 500 on scheduled service across Queensland, including large fleets installed into government facilities and industrial sweepers that cost more than a house deposit.

Shaun Herman of Commercial Cleaning Machines, Brisbane
In Shaun’s words

The trade came first

I grew up fixing things. Trucks, forklifts, cars, whatever was broken that week. I did my apprenticeship on heavy road transport, everything from little Hinos up to Kenworth K909s, and when I finished I went contract field servicing on fuel tankers.

That job taught me the thing I’ve built this business on. On trucks you don’t get a second chance. If a truck runs into a family car because someone got complacent with a brake service, there’s no fixing that afterwards. The difference between a good mechanic and a bad one is enormous, and on that gear it’s measured in lives.

Cleaning equipment isn’t that high stakes. But I brought the same standard across anyway, and I train my technicians the same way. We don’t go to the site to fix a machine. We go to fix the problem, then work out what else is going to fail before we’re back.

From there I ran the service side of a golf operation in Canada, over 300 machines across two courses, then came home to Australia and into cleaning equipment properly. First at PowerVac in WA, the biggest Tennant dealer in the country, then in a major manufacturer’s service department here in Brisbane. That last one taught me what manufacturers do brilliantly and what they do badly. They bring scale and stability. What they often can’t bring is someone who knows your site and picks up the phone.

Service came before sales

For the first stretch of CCM I had nothing to sell. I’d be standing in front of a machine telling a customer the motors were going and the chassis was rusting out and it was time to stop throwing money at it, then pointing them at another dealer because I couldn’t help them. Eventually enough customers wanted to buy from me that a couple of manufacturers were willing to back a small operator. Most weren’t.

That’s still how we work. On the government contracts we’ve taken over, sites that were getting weekly repair visits now sit at close to zero callouts.

We get a lot of second opinion calls too. A manufacturer washes their hands of a machine and quotes a replacement, and the customer isn’t convinced. One of those was an $80,000 quote for a new unit. We’d seen the fault before. It was a $30 microswitch. That customer is still one of our biggest today.

The flip side is the advice that costs us money. Mostly robotics at the moment. If I were any good as a salesman I’d have sold ten times the robots we have. But if we put one into a site where it was never going to work, that lands straight back on us. So we tell people when it won’t work.

Where this is heading

In ten years I want CCM to be the leading supplier of quality cleaning equipment across Queensland, backed by service and support that keeps every customer coming back. Not the biggest for the sake of it. The one people stay with.

Outside of work, any real free time goes to my family and running.

If you’ve got a machine someone’s given up on, or you’re about to sign for one and want a straight answer on whether it suits your site, get in touch.
