Five Pressure Washers We Service the Least | Commercial Cleaning Machines QLD

We look after pressure washers across Queensland, and the same patterns keep showing up. Some units just work. Others need more love than they should.

This list is drawn straight from what we see on site and on the bench.
It’s not a brand bash, it’s practical advice so you can choose a washer that fits your work, your water, and your budget.

1. Kärcher hot and cold units

Kärcher is the Rolls-Royce of pressure washers in our world. Built tough with brass pumps, ceramic pistons, and tidy burner systems on the hot water units.

Why they last

  • Strong build with smart layouts that are easy to service
  • Brass pump heads and high-quality internals
  • Burners that light and hold temperature well when serviced on time

What we see in the field
Older Kärcher units are still running hard. Stick to six monthly services for normal use, three monthly for heavy use, and replace wear parts, they’ll keep running day in day out.

Notes on fittings
Kärcher uses its own fittings, so plan your hoses and accessories around that from day one. They can be costly to replace compared to standard M22 Fittings

2. Kerrick industrial range

Kerrick, owned by Nilfisk, is a proven workhorse brand. Many models use Interpump pumps that are reliable, long life, and well supported. You’ll see Hippo and Rhino units working every day across workshops and industrial sites.

Why they last

  • Interpump pumps with strong parts support
  • Simple, robust frames built for commercial work
  • Standard M22 fittings on most models for easy hose swaps

Best fit
Heavy duty jobs where you want solid output and easy field support without special fittings.

3. Bar Group custom and petrol ranges

Bar Group builds quality packages using top shelf components like Interpump or Comet. They don’t make the pumps, they assemble the right parts into reliable systems.

Where we use them

  • Car wash sites needing single or three-phase setups
  • High duty petrol options for mobile operators
  • Jetter style applications where continuous duty matters

What we see in the field
Excellent life when sized right and serviced on time. Easy parts access and logical layouts make them a safe bet.

4. Spitwater hot and cold series

While we dont sell Spitwater they are one of Australia’s longest standing pressure washer brands. Their machines are made locally and built with a focus on durability for harsh commercial use.

Why they last

  • Italian made pumps and burners with strong parts backup
  • Solid steel frames that hold up well on utes and workshops
  • Simple controls and wiring, easy for any tech to maintain

What we see in the field
They keep earning if serviced regularly.

Best fit
Workshops, agriculture, and transport fleets wanting Australian made reliability and local parts support.

5. Nilfisk industrial range (including Gerni truck booster units)

Good pressure, strong hot water performance, and solid overall build, though their pumps differ from Interpump. If you haven’t worked on them before, they take a moment to get used to.

What we see

  • Strong output and a solid place in the lineup
  • More random sensor faults than we’d like
  • Best maintained by techs familiar with the Nilfisk platform

Bottom line
Still a capable choice, but it sits just below the three above for total ease of ownership.
